Our Story

A Premier Centre of Excellence in Pharmaceutical Education

GRY Institute of Pharmacy (GRYIP), Borawan is established under the Jawaharlal Nehru Charitable Educational Trust (JNCET) in the year 2001 to impart education, research, innovation, training and entrepreneurship in pharmaceutical sciences.

GRYIP is a unique centre of excellence for Pharmaceutical Education and Research offering courses in D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The Institute is the first private pharmacy institute in Madhya Pradesh to be NAAC B++ Accredited (CGPA 2.97) and the first to achieve UGC Autonomous status.

Programs are approved by PCI, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, and affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal. The institute is built in a campus area of 5 acres in the Narmada valley region, studded with the best infrastructure facilities.

About the Trust

Jawaharlal Nehru Charitable Educational Trust

The Jawaharlal Nehru Charitable Educational Trust (JNCET), established in 1996, was formed with the mission to provide quality education in rural and semi-urban areas of Madhya Pradesh. Under its banner, GRY Institute of Pharmacy was established in Borawan, Khargone district in 2001, making quality pharmaceutical education accessible to students from the Nimar region and beyond.

The Trust has been instrumental in building one of the most well-equipped pharmacy institutes in central India, with continued investment in infrastructure, faculty development, and student welfare programs.

About Chairman: A multifaceted personality, Sh. Arun Yadav has diverse interests and commitments in various domains that include education, cooperative sector, politics, entrepreneur and community building, and has left an indelible mark on the State, National and International scenario through his relentless effort, commitment and contribution to transforming lives through community care and education. He is a progressive leader whose missionary zeal and firm commitment have pioneered the march of JNCET in Engineering & Technology, Health Sciences, Education and Research.

Technical education is the touchstone by which the progress of a nation is measured. Today, the academia and the industry need to stand together and share their commitment, enthusiasm and expertise in order to create a responsible, progressive, skilled and job-ready citizen. In keeping with this very spirit, JNCET has been focusing on providing all-round, relevant and comprehensive education to students for the last two decades in an environment that impresses upon ethics, values and mutual respect.

As you start upon a journey to fulfill your dreams, the next four years will be the most crucial time of your life during which you will transform from a fledgling college student into a professional graduate having strong knowledge and solid technical skills for a bright career ahead.

The Pharmacy profession has undergone gradual transition from conventional pharmacy to technology-based pharmaceutical science. In order to overcome the challenges of globalization, pharmaceutical institutes have to tune up themselves giving special emphasis on application of IT and R&D to enhance the quality of pharmaceutical services. At GRY Institute of Pharmacy, the students are transformed to prove & provide their best in the field of pharmacy.

The institute with built-up area of 5.0 acres has one of the best infrastructures available, comprising classrooms with modern audio-visual aids, well-equipped laboratories, computer centre with fully Wi-Fi campus, a very rich library comprising nearly 11,000 books with 26 national and international journals and e-journals. The institute has a large playground and hostel facility separately for both boys and girls. The college will continue to strive hard in maintaining the highest standards of academic environment, bringing qualitative excellence in teaching and research.
